澹然空水對斜暉，
曲島蒼茫接翠微。
波上馬嘶看櫂去，
柳邊人歇待船歸。
數叢沙草羣鷗散，
萬頃江田一鷺飛。
誰解乘舟尋范蠡，
五湖煙水獨忘機。

On limpid water slant the flickering rays,
And near the blue sky jagged islets float;
A ferry rows away, in which a horse neighs,
By willows men await the returning boat.

Among tufts of sandgrasses gulls disperse;
Over riverside fields an egret flies.
Who would follow wise Fan Li and immerse
His success on the five lakes where mists rise?
